Only up to the first 30 pages and the information so far is nearly all new to me.
I had not heard of the issues with Anzac Day and Religion or the Lottery issues.
I bought this book for a friends birthday but thought it was more of a pictorial book. Even an occasional picture would have made it more interesting. The info ofcourse was good, of the events of the times .
On a good note the service was excellent. Having received the wrong year book they express posted the correct one and it arrived in time for gift giving on the birthday.
The book has lots of interesting information, and is very well written, but my book went to a non reader so more photos would have been better for him.
It was a gift for my brother and I read it before he got it . I loved it and he keeps referring to it!

Great reading about what happened the year I was born
As this is a gift, I have only glanced through the book. It looks very interesting but a few pictures would might make it more meaningful.
I still like the idea of having a book with my year of birth.

I'm reasonably happy with the books. The information in them is terrific so not complaining about that. I just felt there would be many more photo's. They are for gifts and would be nice to just flick through a book and reminicise with pictures a bit more. I'm sure they will be well received though. Thank you.,

Bought was a present for my parents and out bought back so many memories!
I made a false assumption that there would be photographs interspersed with text. The person I am giving this to is far more likely to be interested in something that is not text only, but generates interest with graphics. I am very disappointed.
I cannot complain about the service, it was great. The book has not been opened but I will no doubt be happy.
