Only up to the first 30 pages and the information so far is nearly all new to me.

I purchased this book as a gift for my husband for his 82nd birthday and he loves it. It goes with the one that was gifted to him about his birth year, which he also loves. Lots of very familiar memories in both.

Well written, in an easy to read format, it invokes many happy memories for those of us old enough to have lived through this decade. It is even a great momento to give to my grandkids so they can know the world as it was when I was a kid.

Loved the book all about the 60s as they were the years I grew up from 13 to 23 into my married life in 1968.
Most pages made me smile as I remembered the things that happened along the way.
I was originally attracted to the book as I was a marching girl from 1959 to 1968 and I marched at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Empire games in Perth in 1962. Was hoping there would be more about that era but I could relate to everything that was written.
